Careersoil Terms & Conditions

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to your use of services offered by CareersOil (“we”, “us”, “our”). By using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Definitions
- Client: An individual or organization engaging CareersOil to recruit candidates.
- Candidate: Any individual registered with CareersOil for job opportunities.
- Services: Recruitment, staffing, and related support provided by CareersOil.
2. Our Services
- We facilitate recruitment by connecting candidates with suitable employers.
- We act as an intermediary and do not enter into employment contracts on behalf of candidates or clients.
3. Confidentiality
- Candidate details and client information must be kept confidential and used solely for recruitment purposes.
- Disclosure of personal data to third parties is not permitted without prior consent.
4. Fees and Payment
- Service fees will be outlined in a separate agreement or proposal prior to engagement.
- Invoices are payable within 30 days of the candidate’s start date unless otherwise agreed.
- Late payments may incur interest and administrative charges.
5. Candidate Introduction
- If a client employs a candidate introduced by CareersOil within 12 months of introduction, our standard placement fees apply.
- Forwarding candidate details to third parties that leads to employment will also result in applicable fees.
6. Limitation of Liability
- While we aim to match the right candidates to suitable roles, we cannot guarantee suitability, performance, or continued employment.
- CareersOil is not liable for any loss, damage, or expense resulting from the recruitment or employment of any candidate.
7. Equal Opportunity
- We are committed to equal opportunity and do not discriminate based on age, race, gender, disability, or any other protected characteristic.
8. Data Protection
- CareersOil adheres to UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. Please refer to our Privacy Notice for more information.
9. Termination
- Either party may terminate the recruitment engagement by giving written notice.
- All fees due prior to termination remain payable.
10. Governing Law
- These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
- Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Amendments
- We reserve the right to update these Terms. Any changes will be published on our website and effective immediately upon posting.
